Stress Management Workshop

All CRS alumni who are current high school students are invited to attend this interactive workshop on how to recognize, understand, and manage stress in 2024. Dr. Gus Haracopos '79, '80, '87, a CRS alumnus who works with adolescents throughout the New York City area, will briefly share what he advises teens to do when they start feeling stressed - often caused by their own expectations of themselves - and then offer discussion prompts for multiple breakout session discussions. Following the conversation, CRS Ambassadors Anisa '23, Bekzod '23 and Kyriaki '23 will host a de-stressing 15-minute dance break.
The Recent Camper Network (RCN) was launched in Fall 2023 as a post-camp leadership initiative for 2023 in-person and TELE campers. Over 50 Summer 2023 campers volunteered to be "RCN Ambassadors" to launch the network, plan programming, and cultivate connections among their high school peers. This event is the first RCN program being offered. Additional zoom webinars and workshops are currently being scheduled for Spring 2024.
