CRS 2018 season has come to an end

The 88th season of Camp Rising Sun has come to an end and the Louis August Jonas Foundation and Camp Rising Sun are so proud of this Camp Season. In total, 126 campers joined us for the 2018 season, including 62 girls and 64 boys. Read a note from CRS’ Program Director. Although our campers time at Camp has come to an end their journey is just beginning.

The 87th season of Camp Rising Sun has come to an end. In total, 125 campers joined us for the 2017 season, including 62 girls and 63 boys. Thank you to the parents and guardians, the campers, the counselors, and the alumni for a successful season. We look forward to Camp Rising Sun 2018.

LAJF Welcomes Janessa Schilmoeller '05, '06, '10, '11 as Camp Director

We are thrilled to announce that Janessa Schilmoeller '05, '06, '10, '11 will serve as Camp Director for the 2016 Camp Rising Sun sessions. Janessa brings a Rising Sun array of experiences that will bring vibrancy to her role as Camp Director. She is a professional educator, has served as a counselor and Assistant Camp Director at CRS, has run non-CRS summer programs, and has traveled the world extensively.  Read more about her here.
